Jill Halliwell

I have worked at Collingwood School for 30 years, during this time I have had many roles within the school and currently I am a Collingwood Connect community teacher where I go out and see young people at home.
I have had the pleasure of engaging with some amazing young people and their families over the years.
I just love my job!

Maddy Connolly

I am a Collingwood Connect teacher. I have been a teacher at Collingwood School for 14 years, and I have taught young people with SEND for 26 years. I love working with young people to help them achieve their goals.

Helen Storey

I work as a Community Teacher in Collingwood Connect encouraging students to reach their full potential.

The students in Collingwood Connect have many personal and neurodiversity challenges that hinder them from accessing education.

I offer highly personalised educational pathways and 1:1 support to inspire and motivate SEND students to be more confident within an educational environment, and so develop academic progress within the curriculum. Additionally, engagement with Community Teachers in Collingwood Connect also helps develop the social skills of the student, providing the opportunity to create and maintain friendships when attending and engaging in school.
